Chris Lucas, Chairman
Chris is a native and resident of Central Ohio with experience in many facets of the automotive industry. On a whim shortly after high school, he was spinning wrenches on an IndyCar team and within 3 years became Crew Chief. With advice from Honda Performance Development, he purchased his first Honda dealership. Now, with more than 20 years of franchise experience, multiple dealership turnarounds, and successful exits from each, Chris possesses a skillset that is difficult to find. His roots run deep with exotic manufacturers in his racing programs along with his experience from owning IndyLights and Baja race teams. Chris participated as a driver for several years before taking a step back to focus on his business ventures as well as help his son, Seth, grow his own racing career.
Malcolm Ross, Partner
Malcolm's life story is intertwined with resilience, family support, and a passion for cars and racing. Malcolm Ross's early life was marked by a severe car accident at the Indianapolis Raceway. His recovery from this life-altering incident was supported by the medical professionals at Ohio State University, which played a crucial role in his and his family's life. Recognizing the importance of advanced neurological care and research, they donated $10 million to establish the Stanley D. and Joan H. Ross Center for Brain Health and Performance at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. The Ross family's donation reflects their commitment to advancing brain health and performance for future generations.

Gren Lewis V, President, Operating Partner
Beginning his automotive career as the youngest Rolls-Royce sales consultant ever in 2007 with Park Place Dealerships in Dallas, TX, Grenville Lewis has moved from strength to strength. In the time since, he has managed franchises of almost every exotic brand available from Silicon Valley to the Rio Grande Valley. When the opportunity arose to create the ideal automotive experience, he jumped. Teaching and mentoring people to operate as a team to serve their clients and winning is at the center of his skillset. Both himself and mentees have been awarded National and World Dealer of the Year titles. A polymath of business and fun, he has endeavored in real estate, became a commercial pilot, brokered and managed aircraft for clients, owned & operated a garbage can cleaning company, consulted dealers and clients in all things automotive, life coaching, estate & asset management, and raised capital.
Marty Magill, CFO
Marty is akin to having Farmers Insurance in-house. He knows a lot because he’s seen a lot! In a career spanning 5 decades he has provided expert tax, accounting, and consulting services to all manner of business interests. Attorneys, manufacturers, service businesses, car dealers, and race teams have all called on his talent and advice. For the last 20 years he has worked with Chris in growing his business interests. After graduating from college and while working as a CPA for a regional accounting firm, he also taught college-level accounting and tax courses part-time. He served as the Partner in Charge of his firm’s Columbus office.
Kari Lisko, VP, Controller
Kari was recruited by Competition Motors in 2024 for her depth and breadth in accounting and risk assessment. She joined as Vice President, Controller from her role as Vice President of Credit Risk, Real Estate with Goldman Sachs. Prior to Goldman, she spent two and a half years as Assistant Controller at Invesco Real Estate. Her professional story began at Ernst & Young, holding various positions before exiting as Assurance Manager in 2018. While the car business may be new to her, competition and winning are not. Kari is a former NCAA Division I soccer player, masters graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Jack Coughlin,
Business Coordinator
For Jack, motorsports and performance has been the family business all his life as a 3rd generation car guy. Before and while attending The Ohio State University, he worked in the business, Jegs High Performance, in sales, digital marketing, and social media management. After receiving his degree in marketing, he got wind there may be opportunity with Chris and Gren before their venture even had a name. He joined them in 2024 to grow his talents in all facets of the business.
